Former SYRIZA minister hospitalized after heart attack

Former SYRIZA minister Alekos Flambouraris was hospitalised on Sunday after suffering a heart attack, state-run broadcaster ERT reported on Monday.

The 85-year-old veteran politician is said to have undergone coronary angioplasty and is soon expected to be transferred from the ICU to a high-dependency unit as his health is deemed satisfactory.
