Ten-man Partizan beat Sheriff in UEFA Europa Conference League
CHISINAU - Partizan Belgrade beat Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol 1-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League round of 32 in Chisinau on Thursday evening.
Partizan striker Ricardo Gomes scored the only goal of the match in the 45th minute and goalkeeper Aleksandar Popovic also produced a great performance with several brilliant saves.
Serbia Head out to Vote for New President
Voters of Serbia are casting ballots in the presidential election on Sunday to choose a successor to their departing one-term President, Tomislav Nikolic.
Polling stations are open from 7 am to 8 pm CET (GMT+2), and the preliminary results are expected to be published by the State Election Commission, RIK, a few hours after polls close.

Popovic: Talks on Kosovo-Metohija must be returned to UN
BELGRADE - The Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) presidential candidate Aleksandar Popovic said he strongly opposed the negotiations that were "killing" the presence of Serbia as a state in Kosovo-Metohija.
Vucic criticized for inviting Schroeder to campaign rally
Aleksandar Popovic says that PM and ruling coalition's presidential candidate Aleksandar Vucic is supported by "Gerhard Schroeder and Angela Merkel."
At the same time, Popovic, the presidential candidate of the opposition DSS party, noted that he was backed by "Vojislav Kostunica and the patriots" because they care about "Serb freedom above all else."

Ljubisa "Preletacevic" Beli now second
SNS leader Aleksandar Vucic currently has 53 percent support and a big chance of winning in the first round of the April 2 election, according to a new Ipsos Strategic Marketing poll.
Luka Maksimovic, aka Ljubisa Beli Preletacevic, is now second with a rating of about 11 percent.

Serbian Betters Bank on Vucic Winning Presidency
Bookmakers in Serbia say the odds are heavily in favour of the Prime Minister and head of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party, Aleksandar Vucic, winning the presidential election.
The chances of him winning outright in the first round are slightly lower than his chances of winning in the second round, however, they said.

The deadline for candidates to submit their applications to take part in Serbia's presidential elections has expired at midnight.
The Electoral Commission (RIK) received 12 candidatures, and to date confirmed seven.
