Russia thwarts drone approaching Moscow: Mayor
Russian air defences destroyed a drone approaching Moscow, the city's mayor said on Friday, a day after a similar attack on the capital.
Moscow has been targeted by a barrage of Ukrainian drone attacks in recent weeks after Kyiv vowed in July to "return" the conflict to Russia.

Crimea fuel depot on fire, Russian-held towns shelled in Ukraine
A huge fire erupted in Moscow-annexed Crimea after a suspected drone attack hit an oil depot, as fighting intensified on the southern Ukrainian front and shelling deprived Russian border villages of power.
Peskov: NATO is directly involved
"This is proven by the alliance bullet, which was removed from the body of the boy Fyodor, who was injured in the recent terrorist attack in the Bryansk region," the Kremlin spokesman said.
"It is crucial from whose hand the bullet was fired. This is nothing but a terrorist attack," Peskov emphasized.

The governor of the Russian region of Bryansk, Alexander Bogomaz, announced yesterday that the Ukrainian forces opened fire on the village of Klimovo, which borders the north of Ukraine, not far from the city of Chernihiv.
