The trial of Rula Pispirigkou for the deaths of her two children, Malena and Iris, continued today (October 24) at the Mixed Jury Court of Athens with the testimony of forensic expert Nikos Karakoukis.

In a revealing interview with Antonis Sroiter on “First Word” by Protothema.gr, well-known criminal lawyer Alexis Kougias opened up about his long career, major cases, personal challenges, and thoughts on life and the legal profession.

The Court of Appeals in Athens has postponed the appeal of Dimitris Lignadis, the former artistic director of the National Theatre of Greece, for rape to March 21, 2025.

The court granted the postponement because one of the three plaintiffs resides and works abroad and would be unable to attend the trial for six months.

At 9 a.m. the Investigator investigating the deaths of the youngest girls of the Daskalakis family is waiting for their accused mother, Roula Pispirigou, in order to record her deposition.

Three hours later, the 34-year-old is called to appear again on the bench of the Mixed Jury Court, before which her trial for the death of her first daughter, Georgina, began on Monday.

Developments in the case of the brutal murder of Alkis are rapid, as the lawyer of the 20-year-old who had fled to Albania and was wanted confirmed that his client is expected to be handed over to the authorities in the next few hours.
