Exhibition on birds of Istanbul expects visitors
A 10-day-long photography exhibition of Istanbul birds by prominent birdwatcher and photojournalist Alper Tüydeş has been inaugurated at the Turkish metropolis.
Photos of migratory and resident bird species dominant in Istanbul and its surroundings were presented in the exhibition held at Galataport in the Karaköy quarter.

Friendship between way-worn stork and fisherman celebrates its 10th anniversary
The story of a unique friendship between a fisherman and a stork is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.
For the past 10 years, Adem Yılmaz, 68, meets up with a white stork in a village called Eskikaraağaç in Turkey's northwestern province of Bursa's Karacabey district.
