CHP divided over standing for Erdoğan in parliament
Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) lawmakers were split on Oct. 1 over how to greet President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan ahead of his address at the parliament.
Erdoğan's speech marked the parliament's return after a two-month legislative break.
Rumi meets with digital art
Rumi Dreams, a new digital project by Refik Anadol, who is known around the world with his artificial intelligence-based artworks, was introduced at Istanbul Atatürk Culture Center (AKM) on June 4. The exhibition will be on display as part of the Beyoğlu Cultural Road Festival through to June 12.

Sanitation workers with bikes on roads in Konya
Sanitation workers in the Central Anatolian province of Konya, known as the "cycling city of Turkey," have started working on specially designed bikes built in the city's industrial zone.
The city has a bicycle road of 550 kilometers, the longest in Turkey and the second-longest in the world after New York, the U.S.

Fenerbahçe lose to Konyaspor 2-1, bothered after 3 injuries
Fenerbahçe was beaten by İttifak Holding Konyaspor 2-1 in a Turkish Spor Toto Süper Lig match on Oct. 30 but lost more than three points.
The Istanbul team is bothered after three injuries as Brazilian midfielder Luiz Gustavo, Ecuadoran forward Enner Valencia and Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayındır sustained injuries each to leave the match in the second half.
Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe draw in Istanbul derby
Beşiktaş was held to a 1-1 draw at home by city rival Fenerbahçe with a late equalizer on March 21 but managed to stay atop the Turkish Süper Lig standings.
The home side took the lead in the 48th minute when Croatian defender Domagoj Vida scored with a header.
