Minibus owner arrested after deadly crash in Turkey's Marmaris

The owner of a minibus responsible for causing the deaths of 24 people in a crash in southwestern Turkey has been arrested, according to security sources.        

The minibus veered off a cliff on May 13 in the Muğla province, while heading to a Mother's Day event in the resort town of Marmaris from the Buca district of the western province of İzmir.

Victims of a bus accident in the Turkish resort district of Marmaris in the Aegean province of Muğla were laid to rest on May 14 Mother's Day in the western province of İzmir. 

Some 24 people were killed and 11 others were injured when a tour bus carrying 34 passengers and heading to Marmaris from İzmir's Buca district for a one-day trip toppled in Sakar Geçidi on May 13.
