The Free Zone Film Festival, one of the most popular movie events in the country, will take place in Belgrade, Nis and Novi Sad from November 5 to 10.

Films included in this year's festival programme will be screened in eight cinemas across the country.

A happy-go-lucky Amy Winehouse, aged 14, giggles with some friends at the end of a birthday party for her friend Lauren. The footage was featured in footage for the documentary “Amy” that is out in cinemas on July 3. The documentary shows the singer’s rise to stardom before spiralling to death from alcohol poisoning in 2011.

“Amy”, a much-awaited documentary about Amy Winehouse’s life is about to be screened in the Cannes Film Festival.

Based on the trailer which circulated last month, the documentary attempts to shed light into Amy Winehouse’s secret side.

A new documentary on the life of late British singer Amy Winehouse shows the six-time Grammy-Award winner in her younger days discussing her misgivings about fame, a preview of the trailer showed on April 2. 

Winehouse died from alcohol poisoning nearly four years ago at her London home at the age of 27 after struggling with drinking and drug problems throughout much of her career.
