Greece to cut bank rescue fund managers' pay by 40 percent
Cash-strapped Greece will cut the pay of bank bailout fund executives by 40 percent because their salaries are a "provocation" during a time of austerity cuts elsewhere, the finance ministry said on Friday.
HFSF head tenders resignation over court case
Anastasia Sakellariou, the chief executive of bank bailout fund HFSF, sent a letter of resignation to Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis on Friday after she was ordered to stand trial over her alleged involvement in the Hellenic Postbank loans scandal.
In her letter she stresses that she acted «entirely within the law."
