Agricultural Development Minister Vangelis Apostolou vowed improvements to Greek legislation protecting the ancient vineyards of Santorini, telling Kathimerini that efforts will also be made to designate this wine-producing island a "high-yield zone" to curb the expansion of construction.

The ultimate sports experience can be enjoyed at Santorini from May 1 through to May 3 when the Santorini Experience takes place. Participants will be able to enjoy the unique paths outlined by the organizers while enjoying the island's beauty. The events kick off with races for students at Perissa.
