Athens Jazz, the city's longest-running musical institution, returns for its 23rd year courtesy of the Municipality of Athens at Technopolis (100 Pireos) on May 27. Greece's largest jazz celebration offers a week filled with live music, rhythm and special events - all with free admission.

Acclaimed Cypriot pianist and composer Stavros Lantsias presents his latest album titled "My Ennio Morricone" at the Half Note Jazz Club (17 Trivonianou).

Trumpet player Andreas Polyzogopoulos, alongside his talented collaborators George Kontrafouris and Kostas Konstantinou, is set to commemorate the most romantic day of the year at the Half Note Jazz Club (17 Trivonianou, Mets). The trio will pay homage to the legendary jazz figure, Chet Baker, known for his sensitive and cool sounds.

The Dimitris Kalantzis Quartet will create a Parisian atmosphere with some of the most charming jazz compositions of Michel Legrand at the Literary Society Parnassos (lsparnas.gr).

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) launches its new Lighthouse Sessions series on January 24, with a livestreamed concert by jazz trumpeter and composer Andreas Polyzogopoulos.
