Bodyguard accidentally fired his gun on a government aircraft with which the billionaire and Czech Prime Minister Andrei Babis traveled. The incident did not case any harm, police said on Wednesday.

"We can confirm an accidental shot at checking weapons on a government plane," said Czech National Police spokeswoman Lenka Sikorova yesterday.

Thousands of Czechs protested last night in the Old Town of Prague and in another hundred settlements against the planned change of Justice Minister Jan Knezinik with an associate close to President Milos Zeman - Maria Benesova.

The official website of the Czech government has published official information on behalf of Prime Minister Andrei Babis, who explains the country's position regarding the CEZ deal:

"Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov approached me to clarify our positions regarding the sale of the Bulgarian assets of ČEZ Group.

"We have underestimated the situation in recent days a bit, as the CEZ deal was conducted in the Czech Republic between two private companies," Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said today at an extraordinary press conference in the National Assembly.

The new Czech minority government, led by billionaire Andrei Babis, lost the vote of confidence vote after lawmakers rejected the populist who was accused of fraudulent EU subsidies.

"Parliament refuses to express confidence in the cabinet," said parliament speaker Radek Vondrachek.

The party of the 63-year-old media tycoon and former finance minister got 30.74% of the vote, Reuters reported.

The Czech police have asked parliament to lift the immunity of former Finance Minister and leader of the "Discontented Citizens' Action 2011" (ANO) Andrei Babis in an investigation into suspicion of fraud with European subsidies, BTA reported, citing Associated Press.
