'Robin Hood' Filmmakers Accused of Damaging Dubrovnik
The authorities in the Croatian city of Dubrovnik have been accused of "reckless degradation" of the city's heritage in connection with the filming there of the Hollywood blockbuster Robin Hood: Origins, starring academy award-winner Jamie Fox as Little John.
Dubrovnik welcomes new Turkish Airlines route
Turkish Airlines' new Dubrovnik route will be the "beginning of a new story" for Turkey and Croatia, the Balkan city's mayor has said.
Mayor Andro Vlahusic told Anadolu Agency that the new Turkish Airlines route is another door that opens Turkey to Europe.

Star Wars Adds Shine to Croatian 'Pearl' Dubrovnik
After weeks of feverish speculation, the Croatian City of Dubrovnik on Friday confirmed that part of the latest Star Wars movie is be filmed there in March.
Filming of the eighth Star Wars movie will bring additional prestige and marketing visibility to the world-famous destination, often called the "Pearl of the Adriatic".

Croatian Local Polls Reflect SDP-HDZ Deadlock
The results of Sunday's elections reflected the current balance in support between the two strongest Croatian parties, the centre-left SDP and opposition centre-right HDZ.
A total of 71,000 voters went to the polls in five Croatian towns and five municipalities, in the second round of early elections for town and municipality mayors.
