Angel Rusev

Bulgarian weightlifter Angel Rusev claimed his fourth title in the European competition, despite experiencing shoulder pain. Another Bulgarian participant, Dzhan Zarkov, unexpectedly secured third place. The second place was taken by Ramini Shamilishvili from Georgia, as reported by Gong.bg.

Karlos Nasar became world champion in weightlifting in the category up to 81 kg at the men's weightlifting championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This is the first world title for Bulgaria in the bars since 2007.

Angel Rusev (55 kg) is a world champion in weightlifting. He won the gold in the ejection with 144 kg. After 110 kg in the throw, the Bulgarian finished third in the match. The champion with 260 kg became the Kazakh Arli Shontay.

This is the biggest success of Rusev's career, which took place at the world championship in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
