Man arrested for allegedly plotting to arm remanded terror suspect
Anti-terrorist squad officers on Wednesday arrested a 24-year-old Albanian in connection with a plot to smuggle a gun into Korydallos Prison, western Athens.
Two more arrested over terrorist jailbreak plot
The anti-terrorism squad arrested two people on Thursday as part of its ongoing investigation into an alleged plan to help members of the urban guerrilla group Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire escape from jail.
Officers arrested a 27-year-old man, thought to be an Albanian national, and his 24-year-old wife.

Suspect won't post bail unless convict's girlfriend is freed
The mother of two convicted members of guerrilla group Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire, Christos and Gerasimos Tsakalos, refused on Wednesday to post the 10,000-euro bail payment that would secure her conditional release, saying she would only pay if the girlfriend of one of her two sons is also released from pretrial custody.

Suspected Xeros helpers detained after refusing to answer questions
Two suspected accomplices of convicted November 17 terrorist Christodoulos Xeros (photo), Angeliki Spyropoulou, 22, and a 39-year-old man with the code name Iasonas, were remanded in custody on Thursday after appearing before an investigating magistrate.
Both refused to answer any questions, according to sources.

Police release name, photos of woman wanted in connection with Xeros
Police released on Saturday the name and photographs of the young woman who allegedly aided November 17 terrorist Christodoulos Xeros before he was recaptured earlier this month.
The woman was identified as 22-year-old Angeliki Spyropoulou.
Police published 33 photos of the suspect, one from her identity card and the rest from CCTV cameras.
