Türkiye's new stealth drone Anka-3 performs maiden flight
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has announced the successful maiden flight of the Anka-3, a flying-wing unmanned aerial vehicle developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ).
Erdoğan, taking to X on Dec. 28, expressed his optimism regarding the Anka-3's potential contributions.
Teknofest opens its doors in İzmir

Chad receives new aircraft, UAVs from Türkiye
The Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) has announced the delivery of three Hürkuş basic trainer aircraft and two Anka unmanned aerial vehicles to Chad.
In a video posted by the Chadian Defense Ministry, the Armée de l'Air Tchadienne (Chad Air Force) showcased the new equipment to President Mahamat Déby.

Judoka Pogačnik wins European bronze in women’s 70kg
Sofia – Slovenian judoka Anka Pogačnik won the bronze medal in the women’s 70kg category at the European Judo Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria, on Saturday, her first medal in major competitions. In the decisive fight, she defeated Hilde Jager of the Netherlands after three penalties.
C-bank vice-governor, Securities Market Agency head appointed
Ljubljana – The National Assembly elected in a secret ballot on Tuesday Tina Žumer a vice-governor of the Slovenian central bank and endorsed Anka Čadež’s appointment as director of the Securities Market Agency.
Žumer, who has been serving as a chief economist with the European Central Bank after a spell at the analytical department of Banka Slovenije, was backed by 60 votes to 21.
