Presidential Runoff Looms in North Macedonia as Siljanovska and Pendarovski Advance
The presidential election landscape in North Macedonia is poised for a runoff between Gordana Siljanovska, representing VMRO-DPMNE, and Stevo Pendarovski, backed by SDSM, following the release of partial results by the State Electoral Commission. With 98.18 percent of the protocols processed, Siljanovska leads with 40.20 percent of the vote, compared to Pendarovski's 20 percent.

14 dead as bus crashes in Macedonia
The accident happened on Wednesday around 5 pm when the Durmo Tours bus crossed a protective fence onto the opposite side of the highway, and then slid off the road and rolled into a shallow ditch near the village of Laskarci.
About 30 people were injured in the accident.

Macedonia Puts Pricey Projects Under Revision
Just one month since its election, the new government led by the Social Democrats, SDSM, has announced the revision of several expensive, controversial projects.
They include a new medical centre in Skopje, two stretches of highway funded by a Chinese loan and the grand revamp of the capital commonly called "Skopje 2014".

Macedonian Ex-Health Minister Survives Assassin's Bullets
Macedonia's ministry of interior said police had arrested a 67-year-old named as Lj. S., from the village of Dolno Kalaslari, near the town of Veles, shortly after he was believed to have fired two gun shots in the direction of former health minister Nikola Todorov.
