To return smiles on the faces of poor Syrian children on the eve of the Muslim festival Eid al Fitr, six female voluntary tailors are busy repairing second-hand clothes, tuning them brand new for the children in Syria's Idlib province.

Turkey is determined to develop relations with countries around the globe on the basis of rights and justice, the nation's president said on April 7. 

Turkey has expressed concern to Russian officials in Ankara over attacks in Syria's northwestern province of Idlib and the operation zone of Turkish troops deployed in northern Syria.

The international community cannot leave the Syria tragedy on Turkey's shoulders, the Turkish U.N. envoy said on March 3, as the Syrian war nears its 10th anniversary.

The U.S. said on March 2 that it will continue to work with Turkey to achieve common interests in Syria. 

Responding to a question from Anadolu Agency on whether the Biden administration will cooperate with Turkey on Idlib and the humanitarian situation there, State Department Spokesman Ned Price said Washington "certainly" has common interests with its Turkish partners.

The U.S. on March 1 remembered Turkish soldiers killed last year in an airstrike by forces of Syria's Bashar al-Assad regime in northwestern Idlib province.  

Turkey's presidential spokesman urged the U.S. on Feb. 11 to end its support for the PYD/YPG terrorist group. 

"The US should end its support to the PYD/YPG. It should say 'stop' to FETÖ's activities there," said İbrahim Kalın during an interview with TRT Haber, Turkey's state-run news channel.

A Syrian graffiti artist residing in Syria's northwestern city of Idlib has paid tribute to the legendary football player Maradona, who recently died of heart failure, by drawing his image on walls of houses collapsed following the attacks by the Assad regime.

The Turkish defense minister and NATO secretary-general discussed Syria, Libya and regional issues in a phone call, the Turkish National Defense Ministry said in a statement on June 12.

Hulusi Akar and Jens Stoltenberg also exchanged views on NATO issues, said the statement.

Successful treatment in Turkey opened the eyes of a 6-year-old Syrian child who went blind after a bombing attack inflicted heavy damage on his house in the Idlib city of northwestern Syria.
