Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi on Aug. 11 criticized U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to impose additional tariffs on Turkey.

France should know that Iran's missile program is not an issue that can be negotiated, Iran's foreign ministry spokesman, Bahram Qassemi, said in an interview with state media on Monday, quoted by Reuters. 

Iran's full support to the Turkish government on the night of the July 2016 coup attempt enabled the beginning of a détente in bilateral relations between Ankara and Tehran, which had been strained due to differences over the Syrian crisis, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bahram Qassemi has said. 

Iran has demanded information from Turkish officials on the murder of an Iranian-origin British businessman who was assassinated in Istanbul on April 29.

Deputy Prime Minister Veysi Kaynak has claimed that his remarks on the possibility of a new wave of migrants coming from Iran to Turkey have been misinterpreted, responding to a statement from Tehran that had described them as  "incorrect."
