Beşiktaş comes from behind to win derby
Ten-man Beşiktaş came from one goal behind to beat Fenerbahçe 4-2 in an Istanbul derby on April 2 night to cut the gap with its rival in the Turkish Süper Lig.
Fenerbahçe made a good start to the game, and Enner Valencia put the home side in the lead by successfully converting a penalty shot in the 41st minute.

Beşiktaş parts way with coach Sergen Yalçın
Beşiktaş coach Sergen Yalçın has left his post following a string of poor results, according to a statement by the Turkish Süper Lig champion.
"We have parted ways by mutual agreement with Sergen Yalçın, who has been the coach of our Professional Football Team since Jan. 29, 2020," Beşiktaş said on Dec. 9 in a brief statement.

The Central Referee Committee (MHK), in charge of referee appointments, announced earlier this week that Halil Umut Meler, who was fiercely criticized by Beşiktaş following a 1-1 draw against Fenerbahçe on March 21, would officiate in the club's Kasımpaşa match.

Trabzonspor came from behind to beat Beşiktaş with a 2-1 in an away game on the night of Jan. 31, making the home side lose its top spot in the Turkish Süper Lig standings.
