North Macedonia Frees Kosovo Ex-Guerrilla Wanted by Serbia
Former KLA fighter Tomor Morina was released from detention and returned to Kosovo on Wednesday afternoon after North Macedonia's Supreme Court earlier the same day ruled that there were no legal grounds for his extradition to Serbia.
Kosovo's Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli welcomed the release.

Last week, Morina was arrested on the border crossing Blace - General Jankovic, under INTERPOL's warrant, whom Serbia requests under suspicion of committing war crime against civilian population on Kosovo and Metohija.
The Serbian War Crimes Prosecution is investigating this case.

The Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor's Office told BIRN on Thursday that it suspects detained former Kosovo Liberation Army member Tomor Morina of involvement in war crimes against civilians in the Djakovica/Gjakova area of Kosovo from January to June 1999.
Morina was arrested in North Macedonia on Wednesday on a Serbian warrant.

The office of Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli has said it will not approve any further requests from Serbian officials to visit Kosovo.

Serbian Forces ‘On Full Alert’ After Kosovo Police Raids
