The Municipal Court of Pristina on Friday acquitted all 11 defendants in the "Pronto Case", which has been ongoing for over three years since the Special Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation in 2016 into former MP Adem Grabovci's alleged involvement in influencing public-sector appointments. 

After the prosecution in Kosovo opened a probe into seven more officials of the ruling Democratic Party of Kosovo, PDK - accused of involvement in a wiretap scandal - the party that has long dominated the country is in danger of crumbling, some experts say.

The European Investment Bank, EIB, has expressed its willingness to invest in Kosovo in fields such as transport, telecommunications and energy.

Dario Scannapieco, deputy head of the EIB, spoke after a meeting with Besim Beqaj, Kosovo's Minister of Finance.
