President Iohannis to meet Polish counterpart Komorowski in Warsaw
AGERPRES special correspondent Florentina Peia reports: President Klaus Iohannis has arrived on Wednesday evening in Poland, on an official two-day visit, where he is to meet today his counterpart, Bronislaw Komorowski.

Iohannis: Relation with Poland, priority to Romania, both on European and trans-Atlantic level
The relation with Poland is a priority to Romania, both on a European level and a trans-Atlantic level, being highlighted by the existence of a strategic partnership, and the two countries are connected by a common history of cooperation and solidarity in crucial moments, President Klaus Iohannis said on Wednesday, before leaving on the official visit he will pay to Warsaw.

Croatia Readies for New President's Inauguration
Croatia's newly elected President, Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, is finalising preparations for her inauguration on Sunday.
The candidate of the opposition centre-right Croatian Democratic Union, HDZ, she won the second round of the elections in January against the incumbent, Ivo Josipovic, by a smallest margin ever - just 32,509 votes.

Presidents of Bulgaria, Poland Back EU Energy Union
The heads of state of Bulgaria and Poland, Rosen Plevneliev and Bronislaw Komorowski have united around the idea that an energy union could boost the EU's security of supplies, Plevneliev's press office has said.
President Plevneliev is currently on a two-day official visit to Poland at the invitation of counterpart Komorowski which started Tuesday.

Nikolic: EU is Serbia's strategic objective
BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic said during a meeting he had with Polish Senate Marshal Bogdan Borusewicz on Friday that EU membership is Serbia’s strategic objective.
“We are ready to close chapters in accession negotiations (with the EU) efficiently and quickly so as to make our country a modern and well-organized state,” Nikolic said.
