Defending champion Novak Djokovic dispatched Marcos Baghdatis 6-1, 6-3 in 59 minutes to reach the third round of the BNP Paribas Open on March 14 night, improving his record to 8-0 against the Cypriot.

Four days after winning Wimbledon and three days after reclaiming the No. 1 ranking, Novak Djokovic married his longtime girlfriend Jelena Ristic.

The wedding took place at the upscale seaside resort Sveti Stefan in Montenegreo. 

There was reportedly a tight lockdown around the resort, which had been closed in the days leading up to the nuptials.

BELGRADE - Serbia's top-ranked male tennis player Novak Djokovic said on Friday that he is pleased with the progress of recovering from a right wrist injury and that he will almost certainly play at the upcoming Masters tournament in Rome.
