France wants China to send 'clear message' to Russia over war in Ukraine
France's top diplomat said Monday that Paris expects China to send "clear messages" to its close partner Russia over its war in Ukraine, after meetings with his counterpart in Beijing.
"We expect China to send very clear messages to Russia," Foreign Minister Stephane Sejourne told a press conference in Beijing alongside his local counterpart Wang Yi.
UN chief names independent panel to assess UNRWA agency in Gaza
United Nations chief Antonio Guterres announced Monday the creation of an independent panel to assess UNRWA, its embattled agency tasked with helping Palestinian refugees.
UNRWA is under fire over accusations by Israel that 12 staff members were involved in the Hamas attack on Israel on Oct. 7.
Turkish, French FMs hold phone conversation
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and his French counterpart, Catherine Colonna, engaged in a telephone conversation to discuss the Turkish Cypriot government's Pile-Yiğitler Road project and the critical grain deal.

Macron: I have decided
"I have decided to increase supplies of weapons and equipment to Ukraine, to enable them to carry out attacks deep into the territory. At the same time, we adhere to our doctrine, which aims to enable Ukraine to defend its territory," he said ahead of the NATO summit.
Macron did not specify exactly which rockets it is.

First Greeks evacuated from Sudan
A first group of Greek citizens has been evacuated from Sudan and taken to Djibouti, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced.
The group includes the two injured individuals, the ministry says.
