Paying tribute to French music, the Athens Philharmonia Orchestra and conductor Byron Fidetzis will be performing at the Athens Concert Hall (megaron.gr), with Theodore Tzovanakis on piano.

The George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra will stream on Friday at 19:00hrs, EEST, the recording of an October 9, 1997 concert with historical value conducted by great Romanian-born German conductor Erich Bergel (1930-1998).

Violinist Luminita Anca Macavei and pianist Annie Totsiou perform Romantic works penned by Cesar Franck and Edvard Grieg in 1886 at Saint Paul's Anglican Church in Athens on Friday, November 11. The Berlin Philharmonic performs works by Cesar Franck, Sergei Rachmaninov and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov at the Athens Concert Hall on Sunday, October 16. Leading the acclaimed ensemble is Tugan Sokhiev, while the evening's soloist is pianist Nikolai Lugansky. The concert is set to start at 8.30 p.m. and admission ranges from 21 to 75 euros.
