AGERPRES special correspondent to London, the UK, Florentina Peia, reports: Romania's President Klaus Iohannis and his wife Carmen attended on Wednesday a dinner at Buckingham Palace that celebrated Prince Charles's 70th birth anniversary.

Queen Elizabeth 'Will Abdicate in Three Years

The Queen will abdicate in three year's time and make Charles king, it has been claimed.

Her Majesty will step down at the age of 95 letting her son take over as Prince Regent while she is still alive, The Sun reports.

Queen Elizabeth, at 92, is the oldest and longest-serving monarch following her coronation in 1952.

Prince Charles offers condolences to Greek fire victims

The Prince of Wales on Thursday extended the condolences of the royal family to the families impacted by the deadly wildfires east of Athens earlier this week.

"My wife and I wanted you to know how deeply saddened we were to learn of the tragic loss of life following the devastating wildfires in Attica," Prince Charles said in his message to Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos.

"Srebrenica was one of darkest moments of humanity"

The statement, posted on the European External Action Service (EEAS) website, reads as follows:

"Today we commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica. As some victims are still being laid to rest, we extend our sympathies to the survivors and to the families and friends of those who have suffered and lost their lives.

Brnabic attends reception hosted by Prince Charles in London

The reception was organized by Prince Charles for the participants of the Western Balkans Summit.

The reception was attended by British Prime Minister Theresa May, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, former EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Katherine Ashton, Western Balkan prime ministers who took part in the summit, senior European officials and other guests.
