America loves a hero sniper.

Consider Chris Kyle, the veteran Navy SEAL who became the stuff of legend well before publishing his 2012 autobiography “American Sniper,” with more than 160 kills confirmed by the Pentagon during his four tours in Iraq.

The Texas jury judged 27 year-old Eddie Ray Routh guilty, for murdering former Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle in cold blood. The punishment is life in jail.

Kyle’s life was the subject of the recent blockbuster “American Sniper”, which was nominated for several Academy Awards.

A former Marine was sentenced on Feb. 24 to life in prison without parole after being convicted of murdering the US Navy Seal whose story inspired the blockbuster movie "American Sniper."

Muslims are facing increased threats in the United States after the release of the movie "American Sniper," an American-Arab organization said in letters to director Clint Eastwood and star Bradley Cooper.
