Director Antonis Antypas has died at the age of 83.

The news was shared in a heartfelt post by the composer and his wife of 40 years, Eleni Karaindrou.

The fourth Parthenon Film Festival will host three open-air cinema nights in the central square of the quaint village of Parthenonas, about 6 kilometers outside Neos Marmaras on Halkidiki's Sithonia peninsula.
