Little Richard, flamboyant rock 'n' roll pioneer, dead at 87
Little Richard, one of the chief architects of rock 'n' roll whose piercing wail, pounding piano and towering pompadour irrevocably altered popular music while introducing black R&B to white America, died on May 9 after battling bone cancer. He was 87.

Chuck Berry dies aged 90
American guitarist, singer and songwriter and one of the pioneers of rock and roll music, Chuck Berry, died at the age of 90 on Saturday, FOX News reported.
"St. Charles county police say they responded to a medical emergency Saturday afternoon (local time) and found Berry unresponsive. He could not be revived and was pronounced dead," the channel said.
