Four US citizens and an Australian pilot have died after their light plane crashed into a shopping centre in Melbourne, Australia.
The charter flight appeared to have had a “catastrophic engine failure” shortly after taking off from the small Essendon Airport, said police.
Despite the destruction, no-one was killed or injured on the ground.

Police drop terror charge against Australian teenager
Australian police on Aug. 25 dropped a terrorism related charge against a teenage boy who was accused of planning an Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) inspired attack at a national remembrance day parade.
Australian Federal Police formally withdrew the charge against 18-year-old Harun Causevic of conspiring to commit an act of terror and released him on bail.
