Reconstruction begins at National Museum
BELGRADE - The reconstruction of the National Museum in Belgrade, which has been closed to the public since as far back as 2003, began on Saturday.
Serbian Minister of Culture Ivan Tasovac visited the museum, announcing that the country's oldest museum institution will reopen in the spring of 2016.

S. Korean embassy hosts reception to mark national holiday
BELGRADE - South Korean Ambassador to Serbia Lee Do-hoon hosted a reception late Wednesday on occasion of his country's national holiday, the National Foundation Day of the Republic of South Korea.
The holiday celebrates the day when, according to ancient notes, the legendary "grandson of heaven", Dangun Wanggeom, founded Gojoseon, the first Korean kingdom, in 2333 BC.

Gabriel: Commitment to Europe a given in DS
BELGRADE - German Vice Chancellor and chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Germany Sigmar Gabriel stated on Monday that Serbia is not lonely in its need for Europe and that Europe needs Serbia as well, and added that commitment to Europe is implied when it comes to the Democratic Party (DS), while it is a novelty for some other parties.

Dacic meets delegation from Brussels
BELGRADE - A delegation of the European External Action Service (EEAS) met with Serbia's Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic in Belgrade on Friday and expressed full support for Serbia's chairmanship of the OSCE in 2015 and willingness to work together during that period.
The EU diplomats stated that Serbia's success in chairing the OSCE would also be their success.

Agreement on key issues reached with IMF
BELGRADE - At a meeting between Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and International Monetary Fund (IMF) officials, an agreement has been reached on most key issues, the Serbian government said in a statement.
The members of the two delegations held constructive discussions on a new IMF deal.

Vucic discusses Rama's and IMF visits with ambassadors

BELGRADE - Leader of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) Vojislav Kostunica said that only through political and economic neutrality can Serbia preserve its stability, continue to develop, and make own decisions about its internal matters.
