Assistant education minister assaulted

BELGRADE -- Education Minister Srdjan Verbic has announced that his assistant for development and high education was attacked on Thursday morning.

Verbic told a meeting of the Council for High Education that Milovan Suvakov was in the emergency center where he was receiving IV fluids and was conscious.

BELGRADE - Ognjen Pribicevic has been appointed as Serbia's ambassador to Ireland on a non-residential basis, his office bein in London, the Serbian Official Gazette has reported.

Dejan Popovic, the previous ambassador, was recalled by an order of Preisdent Tomislav Nikolic from July 4.

Pribicevic was appointed as the ambassador to the UK in August last year.

Miljana Radivojevic, a research associate at University College London who was involved in publicising the PhD claims, said on Friday that she is suing former rector Mica Jovanovic and another, unknown person who she accuses of hacking emails that she wrote about the subject.

Anonymous Serbia told Balkan Insight that it had nothing to do with hacking the emails of Miljana Radivojevic, a professor from University College London who wrote about the revelations that Megatrend University rector Mica Jovanovic did not get his PHD at the London School of Economics, as he had claimed.
