Turkey's economic confidence rebounds in February
Confidence in Turkey's economy rebounded in February after a two-month dip, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) reported on Feb. 27.
The Economic Confidence Index surged 6.8 percent to 91.5 in February compared to last month, TÜİK said in a statement.

Turkish lira hits 6-week high against US dollar
The Turkish Lira appreciated against the U.S. dollar early on Feb. 23 amid hints from the Federal Reserve pointing to rate hikes as soon as March.
The U.S. dollar/Turkish Lira rate dipped to as low as 3.5756 points, the lowest figure since Jan. 4, when the rate began its move toward its historic high of 3.9423 on Jan. 11.

Turkish consumer confidence index slips in November
The consumer confidence index declined to 68.9 in November, a 6.9 percent decrease compared to the previous month, data from the Turkish Statistics Institute showed on Nov. 22.

At 10:33 a.m., the lira stood at 3.0269 against the U.S. currency, after touching a low of 3.0475 overnight.
