Cyprus leaders to meet for talks on Thursday
Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish-Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu will meet on Thursday in the context of ongoing negotiations to reunify the Mediterranean island.
Talks will be attended by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moons special adviser Espen Barth Eide.

Davutoglu calls for a two-state solution in Cyprus
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has called for a two-state solution to the Cyprus problem.
Speaking during a visit to the Turkish-occupied part of the Mediterranean island, the new premier repeated the call made by Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey's newly-elected President, early September. Erdogan's comments had irked officials in Athens and Nicosia.

UN adviser to hold joint meeting with Cyprus leaders on Sept 17
The newly appointed United Nations special adviser on Cyprus, Espen Barth Eide (photo), will hold a joint meeting with Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish-Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu in Nicosia on September 17.
Eide revealed that the meeting would take place after holding separate talks with the two men on Friday.
