Cultural Road Festival opens in Diyarbakır
The Sur Cultural Road Festival, organized for the first time this year within the scope of the Turkish Cultural Road Festival events, has started in Diyarbakır.
Organized by the Culture and Tourism Ministry, the festival will host more than 600 events with the participation of more than 2,000 artists until Oct. 16.

Istanbul to host new int’l art fair ‘Artcontact’
Istanbul will host a new international contemporary art fair called '"Artcontact" between May 31 and June 6 at the Avrasya Arts Center.
Atis, the company that has been organizing the ArtAnkara Contemporary Art Fair in the capital for seven years, will organize the Artcontact Contemporary Art Fair this year.

Painter’s life to be featured in film
The life of one of Turkey's prominent painters, Devrim Erbil, will be featured in a film titled "The Sky was So Blue." The film, written and directed by Durmuş Akbulut, will start shooting on Aug. 21 in Istanbul and Balıkesir.

Devrim Erbil at Art New York
Gama Art Gallery will present master Turkish artist Devrim Erbil's works at its booth during Art New York between May 4 and 6. Curated by Şule Claire Altıntaş, 'Virtual Devrim' can be seen at Art New York, Pier 94 Manhattan, Gama Gallery 249. Young artist Yiğit Dündar's works can also be seen at the same event.
