Western Balkan Nations Told to Work Harder to Join EU
The European Union on Friday told six Western Balkan nations seeking membership that they would have to implement difficult reforms before they can be allowed to join the wealthy bloc, according to Reuters.
EU Should Make its Position on Turkey Official
The European Union (EU) should make official its position on Turkey's accession process, Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders said on Friday from Tallinn, Esthonia, where he attended an informal meeting of European diplomatic chiefs, The Brussels Times writes.
"For us, it's very clear; the process is frozen," Reynders said.

Vucic, Reynders discuss bilateral relations
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Tuesday met with Belgian Deputy PM and FM Didier Reynders to discuss bilateral relations, ways of strengthening economic cooperation and Serbia's European integration.
Vucic expressed the hope more Belgian companies would be interested in investing in Serbia, in particular in infrastructure, agriculture and the energy sector.

Dacic: EU should keep door open, gov't to continue reforms
BELGRADE - Serbian FM Ivica Dacic on Tuesday expressed the expectation the EU would keep its door open to accession as that would help ease instability and tensions in the Belkans, and added that the next Serbian government would maintain political goals such as building a modern society and Serbia's EU path, regional peace and stability and reforms.

Ivica Dacic says he hopes the EU will keep the door open for the countries of the Western Balkans.
According to Serbia's acting PM and foreign minister, this is "useful for alleviating instability and tensions in this part of Europe."
