The Athens String Quartet will appear at the Athens Concert Hall's Dimitris Mitropoulos with a program of works by three great composers: Johann Sebastian Bach's "Die Kunst der Fuge: Subject and Contrapuncti 6, 4, 9," Alfred Schnittke's String Quartet No. 3, and Ludwig van Beethoven's String Quartet No. 13 in B-flat major (Op.130). The quartet is comprised of two violins, a viola and a cello.

Mitsotakis prepares for Paris visit
Ahead of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' arrival in Paris on Thursday for talks with President Emmanuel Macron, Greek and French officials were on Tuesday hammering out the details of his visit's agenda.
According to reports, Mitsotakis and his wife Mareva Grabowski-Mitsotaki will be received at the Elysee Palace by Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron.

Discussion on Holocaust and Memory to be held at Athens Concert Hall (Live streaming)
The Athens Concert Hall, in collaboration with the Jewish Museum of Greece will host today a discussion on Holocaust and Memory which will also be transmitted live via diavlos site.
Curtain set to rise on this year’s Greek Festival
From music to theater and dance, the Greek Festival celebrates its 56th anniversary this summer. Founded in 1955 as the Athens Festival, its bar was set high right from the start, with Dimitris Mitropoulos leading the New York Philharmonic in one of the event’s curtain-raising performances. It has since hosted living legends including Maria Callas, Rudolf Nureyev and Margot Fonteyn.
