A video of Deputy Head of Mission in the Dutch Embassy to Ankara Erik Weststrate prepared for his farewell to Türkiye attracted great attention on social media.

Weststrate shared the video on social media on Aug. 9 and described the places he visited in front of the map of Türkiye expressing his admiration.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry on Feb. 18 said it expects NATO members to "flawlessly display unity and the spirit of solidarity" that constitute the bedrock of the Alliance.

Iraq on May 3 summoned the top Turkish diplomat in Baghdad to protest the Turkish defense minister's weekend visit to a military base in northern Iraq.

The Iraqi Foreign Ministry said in a statement that it handed the Turkish charge d'affaires a protest note over Hulusi Akar's visit to a Turkish base in northern Iraq.

Japan, the world's third largest economy by nominal GDP, expects the finalization of two agreements with Turkey which will increase its investments in the country and the $3.5 billion trade volume between the two nations, a spokesperson for the Japanese Foreign Ministry said.
