Retired NBA stars Tony Parker, Dirk Nowitzki, Dwyane Wade and Pau Gasol and legendary San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich were among those inducted on Aug. 12 into the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Ljubljana – Slovenian NBA star player Luka Dončić has signed a five-year, US$207 million supermax rookie extension with the Dallas Mavericks in what is the largest guaranteed rookie extension in NBA history and the largest sports contract ever in Slovenia. Dončić told the STA on Tuesday he will continue to play for the national basketball team.

The 26-year old Serbian international Nikola Jokic on Tuesday was given the coveted Most Valuable Player, MVP, award by the US National Basketball Association league, the world's premier men's basketball league.

BELGRADE - Serbian basketball player Milos Teodosic, who is a member of the national team and CSKA from Moscow, has been named one of the top five players in Europe in 2014 by Eurohoops.
