Bus carrying Serbs attacked with stones in Kosovo

DJAKOVICA -- Ethnic Albanians in Djakovica on Tuesday attacked with stones a bus carrying some 40 Serb refugees from this Kosovo town.

The incident happened in front of a Serbian Orthodox church.

BELGRADE - The Association of Djakovica Citizens has stated that the demolished Serb homes in that town in southwestern Kosovo should be rebuilt to allow 12,000 Serbs to return there, because Kosovo's future lies in multiethnicity.

BELGRADE - Serbs who were driven out of the region of Djakovic, southwestern Kosovo, issued on Thursday a protest to the authorities in Pristina not being allowed to visit their town and properties on Good Friday.
