Bosnian Serb Police Release Davor Dragicevic

Bosnian Serb police on Wednesday released Davor Dragicevic after detaining him for more than 24 hours.

The father of the young man whose death has sparked political turmoil in Bosnia's mainly Serb entity, Republika Srpska, vowed to continue his campaign for justice and the regular protests in the main squqre of Banja Luka, the main city in the RS.

Blast Injures Two in Bosnia's Banja Luka

A bomb was detonated under a parked car in the Bosnian city of Banja Luka on Tuesday morning, police said.

The interior minister in Bosnia's Republika Srpska entity, Dragan Lukac, said that it was not a terrorist incident but "a targeted attack on one person".

He said that the driver and a passer-by were hurt in the blast.

Bosnian Serb 'Capital' Braces For Rival Protests

Authorities in Republika Srpska, Bosnia's Serb-dominated entity, are tightening security ahead of rival protests that both government and opposition parties are organising in Banja Luka on Saturday.

At a press conference on Friday, Dragan Lukac, Republika Srpska Minister of Interior, said that around 2,000 policemen will be deployed to prevent disorder in the city.
