Bosniak Ex-Soldiers’ Sentences for Attack on Serbs Increased
The third-instance chamber of the Bosnian state court on Friday sentenced Muhamed Sisic to ten years in prison and Tarik Sisic and Aziz Susa to eight years each for wartime crimes in the village of Kukavice in the Rogatica municipality in August 1992.
The attack on Kukavice by Bosnian Army troops saw 21 Serb civilians killed, including two children, and 39 wounded.
Bosnian Soldier Jailed for Murder, Torture, Mutilation
Former Bosnian Army serviceman Emir Drakovac was sentenced to 14 years in prison for participating in the murder and mutilation of a civilian and the torture of a Serb soldier in 1992.
Cooperation in preparing indictment for murder of 21 Serbs
BELGRADE – Serbia’s War Crimes Prosecutor’s Office said in a release Friday that an indictment had been issued in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) against four former members of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Army over war crimes against Serb civilians, including the killing of 21 people who were on a refugee convoy from the BiH city of Gorazde on August 27, 1992.
Bosnian Army Soldiers Indicted for Attacking Serbs
Ex-servicemen Muhamed Sisic, Tarik Sisic, Emir Drakovac and Aziz Susa are accused of wartime crimes in Rogatica and Foca, including a deadly attack on fleeing Serb civilians.
