US Sanctions Bosnia’s Former Intelligence Chief for ‘Corruption’
The US Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control, OFAC, extended the list of sanctioned individuals from Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday, slapping sanctions on a former chief of the Intelligence Security Agency, Osman "Osmica" Mehmedagic and two others.
Six Child Victims of Bosnian War Identified
The Bosnian Missing Persons Institute told BIRN on Friday that 13 Bosniaks who disappeared in the village of Kratine in the Vitez municipality on April 17, 1993 have now been identified.
Missing Persons Institute spokesperson Emza Fazlic said that of the 13 identified victims, six were minors when they died.

Bosnian Mayor’s Long-Delayed War Crimes Trial to Begin
The mayor of Vlasenica, Miroslav Kraljevic, will go on trial in Sarajevo next month with co-defendants Radenko Stanic and Goran Garic for the persecution of Bosniak civilians during the war in 1992 and 1993, it was announced on Wednesday.
The three men - all former police officers - are charged with unlawful imprisonment, murder, torture, sexual abuse and forced disappearances.
Sickness Delays Justice in Bosnian War Crimes Trials
But their trial remains on hold due to Djuric's sickness.
Nedim Salaharevic, who saw his brother, Edin, being killed in Vlasenica, told BIRN that he had been waiting for justice for years.
"This is yet another blow to victims … Djuric and Kraljevic were rulers of life and death in Vlasenica. I saw it with my own eyes, I watched them kill my brother, Edin," he said.
