Bromell, Thompson-Herah bag 100m wins in Eugene
Trayvon Bromell and Elaine Thompson-Herah grabbed 100m Diamond League victories on May 28 in Eugene, where eight world-leading performances highlighted the action at Hayward Field.
America's Bromell, the fastest man in the world last year, bounced back from a false start disqualification in Birmingham last weekend to win a star-studded men's 100m in 9.93 seconds.

Young Turkish javelin thrower makes it to final in London
Turkish athlete Eda Tuğsuz will be aiming for another career milestone on Aug. 8 in the women's javelin event at the World Athletics Championships in London.
Tuğsuz, 20, made the final with a throw of 63.87 meters in the qualifications on Aug. 6, beating the mark of 63.50 meters for automatic qualification.
Bulgaria's Ivet lalova-Collio Comes 7th in 200m World Final
Bulgaria's Ivet lalova-Collio finished 7th in the women's 200m finals at the Beijing 2015 IAAF World Athletics Championships on Friday.
Lalova-Collio covered the distance in 22.41 seconds, ahead of Jamaica's Sherone Simpson (22.50) and behind Jeneba Tarmoh of the USA (22.31). The Bulgarian athlete;s time was 0.09 seconds slower than her result in Thursday's semi-finals.
Schippers shatters European record for 200m gold
Dutch sprinter Dafne Schippers smashed a European record which has stood since the 1970s as she won world 200m gold with an electrifying run on Aug. 28.
The 100m silver-medallist ran 21.63sec, the fourth fastest time in history, as she lunged at the line to beat Jamaica's Elaine Thompson, who clocked a personal best of 21.66sec.

Bulgaria's Ivet Lalova-Collio Books Spot in Women's 200m Final in Beijing
Ivet Lalova-Collio of Bulgaria on Thursday made it to the women's 200m sprint finals at the Beijing 2015 IAAF World Athletics Championships.
Lalova-Collio clocked in 22.32 seconds, 0.19 ahead of her best sprint recorded in Madrid in July 2004.
She finished third in her semi-final, behind Jamaica's Elaine Thompson (22.13) and Candyce Mcgrone of USA (22:26).
