Greek pop singer Elena Paparizou has returned with a brand new single for radio, following her summer smash hit “Haide”. Her new single, calld “An me Deis na Kleo” (If you see me cry), was first released in her summer EP “Summer Extended 2017” and stole the show at the 2017 MAD Video Music Awards.
Last night at Eurovision: “One Last Breath” to make its way to Finals! (photos + videos)
Maria-Elena Kyriakou drew “One Last Breath” with her throaty voice and was sent to the 60th Eurovision Song Contest 2015 finals in Vienna, Austria.
She stole the show with her dynamic presence, beauty and of course – voice – getting one of the ten coveted tickets to the Saturday finals. Both the audience and critics said “Yes” to another breath for Greece.

The Greek Eurovision team is in Austria about to draw “One Last Breath” with its entry for Greece. There will be a direct link from the Stadthalle in Vienna so that Greek audiences can enjoy Maria Elena Kyriakou at the semi-finals of the 60th Eurovision Song Contest at 11 p.m. on Tuesday with hopes that she’ll make her way to the finals on Saturday.

The popular syrtaki (from the word syrtos, meaning dragged), initially choreographed by Giorgos Provias for the 1964 film Zorba the Greek is not a traditional Greek folk dance but a mixture of slow and fast versions of the Greek hasapiko dance. Accompanied by Mikis Theodorakis’ music, the dance has come to embody all that is Greek.

Greek Eurovision Finals: "One Last Breath" of hope for Greece (photos + videos)
Greece will be represented at the 60th Annual Eurovision Contest in Vienna on May 19 by Maria-Elena Kyriakou. The beautiful singer, last year's winner of The Voice hit talent show, will represent Greece with the throaty ballad, "One Last Breath" after the audience and Greek contest committee voted on Wednesday. The first semifinal takes place on May 19, followed by the second final on May 21.
