The winter transfer season for Turkish football clubs has opened on Jan. 4. 

The second phase of the transfer window will start tomorrow and end at the beginning of February.

Turkish Süper Lig side Fatih Karagümrük already signed with three players before the transfer window began.

Galatasaray, which enjoyed winning the Turkish Super Cup on Aug. 8, will play a friendly match against Real Madrid on Aug. 18, according to a statement from the Turkish club.

"As part of the 36th edition of the Santiago Bernabeu Trophy, Real Madrid and Galatasaray will play at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium at 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 18," the statement said.

Galatasaray lost key two points against Bursaspor Feb. 1 in its race for the top of the standings in a week that rivals Fenerbahçe and Be?ikta? enjoyed narrow wins.

Galatasaray barely snatched the 2-2 draw against Bursaspor at its home Türk Telekom Arena in a matchday 18 game.
