Turkish scientists conduct research in Arctic Ocean en route to pole
Eleven Turkish scientists are currently engaged in ongoing research in the Arctic Ocean, reaching the sea ice line with their route from 71 degrees north latitude to the north pole.
Some 11 provinces warned of heavy precipitation, floods
The Turkish State Meteorological Service has warned 11 out of all 81 provinces of heavy precipitation and floods.
Starting from Feb. 23, the northwestern provinces of Edirne, Kırklareli and Tekirdağ, the southern provinces of Antalya, Hatay, Osmaniye, Isparta and Burdur and the Aegean provinces of İzmir, Aydın and Muğla will witness downpours until the weekend.

Turkish scientists hunt for secrets of Antarctica
A Turkish team completed research by collecting stone, water, algae, ice and microscopic living samples to reveal the secrets of the Antarctic continent.
The team has been working on the secrets of the "white continent," conducting 15 projects in the earth, life, and marine sciences.
