Turkey's Health Ministry is planning to build migrant health centers staffed with only Syrian medical professionals across a number of provinces that host a refugee population above 20,000. 

France's pharmaceutical company Servier has decided to move some of its production operations from France and Ireland to Turkey. The company will produce around 21 million medicine packages in the next 18 months. 

Two police officers have been killed in two southeastern provinces during operations targeting outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants.

Health Minister Mehmet Müezzino?lu announced on March 23 a total of 39 people have died from influenza, some 30 of them being infected by the H1N1 virus, also known as the swine flu. 

Health Minister Mehmet Müezzino?lu said on March 21 a total of 360 patients out of more than 4,300 samples have tested positive for swine flu, also known as H1N1.

"A total of 360 patients tested positive for H1N1," said Müezzino?lu, adding the ministry has been closely monitoring developments regarding the virus.

A top health official in Turkey has announced a total of 16 people out of 170 known cases have been died from swine flu in 2014 and 2015, as the H1N1 virus makes a comeback throughout the country.

"The flu season will be over in one month, but we will increase the precautions we take," said Health Ministry Undersecretary Prof. Dr. Eyüp Gümü? during a press conference on March 17.
