Pinterest to appoint representative to Turkey
Pinterest agreed to a requirement to appoint a local representative in Turkey as part of a new social media law that took effect in October 2020, according to a top Turkish official.
Deputy Transport and Infrastructure Minister Ömer Fatih Sayan announced on Twitter that Pinterest has agreed to appoint a local representative in Turkey.

LinkedIn to appoint local representative in Turkey
As part of Turkey's new social media law, which came into force in October 2020, the US-based social media platform LinkedIn accepted a requirement to appoint a local representative in the country, a senior official announced on Jan. 16.

Dailymotion sets up legal representative in Turkey
French video-sharing technology platform Dailymotion appointed a representative in Turkey, a senior Turkish official said on Jan 9.
"One of the foreign-sourced social network provider Dailymotion with more than 1 million daily access from Turkey has appointed a representative in Turkey," Deputy Transport and Infrastructure Minister Ömer Fatih Sayan wrote on Twitter.
